Q: How do I change the time and/or date on the systems voice
mail?
A: There are a couple of different ways you can go about this.
If you know the "back door" number to your voice mail,
you can dial that number. If not, enter your voice mail extension
number which in most cases will be 165. Either way you will now
press # 6, then *998. To change date and time press 4. Now just
follow the prompts. Remember that you have to enter a 4 digit
time and a six digit date.
Q: On a display phone, how do I get the date and time to
display instead of my extension number?
A: You can toggle back and forth between your extension number
and the date and time by pressing the * key. This is beneficial
if you need to know what extension number a particular phone has.
If the phone in question does not have a display, simply intercom
a phone that does and they can tell you what extension you are
calling from.
Q: Will it work if I plug an extra Panasonic phone into
the XDP port on my Panasonic phone?
A: No. The XDP port will only work with a single line, analog
device. This includes fax machines, modems, cordless phones, and
answering machines.
Q: How do I turn the music off on my phone?
A: While on hook, dial 1. This sets and cancels the background
music feature.
Q: Can I transfer a call from my phone to a completely different
location?
A: Yes, any incoming call can be transfered. After answering
the call, press Flash then dial the number that you want to transfer
it to. When you hear it ring, hang up and the call will be transfered.
